NEW CUSTOM HOME AND 10 CAR GARAGE, IROQUOIS, ONTARIO
The original concept for this house was loosely based around an imaginary house by Walter Campbell, “Voile de Mariée”, which fascinated the owner. Commencing in 1995 this design was reconfigured many times for different sites until actual construction began in 2016. The structure is a large section timber frame built by hand by the owner off site then re-assembled on the site. The owner is a car enthusiast, in 2023 plans were made to increase the size of the garage.

Full design and permitting for a custom home on a tight infill site in a historic area. The approvals process required several minor variances and a Mature Neighbourhoods Streetscape Character Analysis.

Conceptual design, design development and interior assistance to the owner for a 10,800 sq ft residence, which the owner wanted to be in an English Arts and Crafts style. The design was built by Metric Homes.

BARN CONVERSION, BALLALOAGHTAN, ISLE OF MAN
A complete renovation and addition, to turn an ancient barn previously used as farm offices into a luxury vacation rental, including exterior and interior design. Local technical assistance provided by Carl Jenkins. The project has been consistently rated 5 stars by Isle of Man Tourism and has won their Gold Medal for the best place to stay in the Isle of Man every year since it opened.

GARDEN PAVILION FOR A HOUSE IN CROSTON, LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND
A garden pavilion for a house in the historic village of Croston in Lancashire, England. This was originally intended to be built and was undertaken as part of Tim’s Master of Design submissions at Liverpool University. However the project remained on paper. Drawings and titles were hand drawn.

AN IMAGINERY WORKPLACE FOR ITALO CALVINO INSPIRED BY THE NOVEL INVISIBLE CITIES
A workplace for the author Italo Calvino drawing on references from the novel “Invisible Cities” for an actual site in Venice. This was a DipArch project which caused disagreement between the studio tutors because of its historical character. Drawings and titles were hand drawn.
